The DOMINOS TABLE are a partnership between French Designer Thomas Pausz and the architects M.Burandt and F.Skupin, founders of the tailor made furniture and interior design label 'neue tische' in Berlin.

‘neue tische' have created a unique custom-made steel framed table that creates a support for Pausz acustomisable matrix of domino pieces. This festive piece of furniture is at the junction of the two partners aesthetics:a radically modern design intended for everyone offers a stage to contemporary isues of “self design” and customisation.

In both private and public space the DOMINOS TABLE facilitates interaction by creating the conditions for collective play and pattern making.

Visually the resulting motifs produced by the infinite possibilities of organizing and re-organizing the colourful dominos, recalls traditions of intricate tablecloth designs and more popular products like vinyl tablecloth or even a pixilated screen.
